Born and raised in Nanjing, China, Ms Zhang’s lifelong goal is to become a leader of public and private sectors to contribute to the world’s economic and social development. She interned for the United Nations as a project manager in Beijing and worked for the Points of Light Foundation at Washington, D.C. prior to attending Wharton.
After graduating from Wharton in 2009, Ms Zhang joined JPMorgan Chase & Co., a leading global financial services firm, as a Treasury and Securities Services MBA Management Development Program trainee. She has since completed three rotations in the company’s New York City headquarter and is looking forward to the opportunity to return to Asia as a rising business leader.
Ms. Zhang earned her bachelor’s degree from Beijing Foreign Studies University and holds an MBA from the Wharton School and a MPA from Indiana University. She served as Executive Director of Alumni Affairs of Wharton Graduate Association, Wharton Women in Business Alumnae Relations Officer, and the Co-Chair of Wharton 2009 Class Gift Committee. The 2009 Class Gift Campaign achieved 93% participation rate despite of financial crisis. Ms Zhang was the Co-MC of 2009 Wharton Global Alumni Forum at Beijing.
Ms. Zhang is a member of Association for Financial Professionals and Pi Alpha Alpha the National Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration. She enjoys swimming, tennis, travel, and learning foreign languages.
