David S. Pottruck has been a director of Intel since 1998 and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Red Eagle Ventures, Inc., San Francisco, California, a private equity firm since 2005. Mr. Pottruck is also Co-Chairman of Hightower Advisors, a $15 Billion adviser-owned Wealth Management company. He has been an advisory board member of Diamond Technology and Management Consultants, Inc., a publically held consulting firm, since 2004. He has also served as Senior Fellow in the Wharton School of Business Center for Leadership and Change Management since 2004 and teaches in Wharton’s MBA and Executive Education programs. Mr. Pottruck has held adjunct faculty positions at 5 universities.
In July 2004, Mr. Pottruck resigned from the Charles Schwab Corporation, after a 20-year career, having served as President, CEO, and a member of the board. Mr. Pottruck has been a board member of 4 publically held companies and almost a dozen privately held companies and non profits. Mr. Pottruck graduated with honors from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
As Chairman and CEO of a private equity firm, and as CEO of a major brokerage firm with substantial Internet operations, Mr. Pottruck brings to the Board significant senior leadership, management, operational, financial and brand management experience.
